I was in Target yesterday (searching for the elusive white mini pumpkin) in the Halloween section. As I was browsing the costumes I noticed that there were so many more options available for those in the family who were more of a feline or canine persuasion than in previous years.
I generally don't dress my dog or cat in clothing other than the occasional festive bandanna that my mom is faithful to send for every major holiday throughout the year. Bella, our dog prances around and seems proud to wear the bandannas. (But then again it could be from all the extra attention she receives WHILE wearing them.) Even though we don't dress our pets up for trick-or-treating I do have to admit that many of the costumes made for pets are simply adorable.
