In honor of Easter this year I thought I'd forgo the paper plates and go with something a little more festive.

This was actually a dress rehearsal for the big day so no place cards or Easter goodies yet.

As with much of my decorating, most of these items were secondhand purchases.

The tablecloth was from Target and was the inspiration piece.

The napkins were also from Target. They are probably the only yellow I have in my house. (I really, really like them!)

The silver napkin rings were from Goodwill.

The silver plated chargers were also from Goodwill. I had seen various plastic chargers over the months but they just weren't doing it for me. I saw these silver ones for 99 cents a piece and snatched them up.

These flower plates were one of my first purchases. (Also from Goodwill.)

My everyday glasses are from Goodwill, too.

The pewter pitcher was from Goodwill. The fresh hydrangeas were on sale from the grocery store.

The flatware I've had forever and have no idea where it's from. It was probably a wedding gift. (I would love some sterling silverware. Someday...)

The funny thing is, if I used the white tablecloth and white cloth napkins that I bought from Goodwill previously then the whole tablescape would be second hand! I'm so glad I went with the Target patterns!

Happy Easter, everyone!
