Door Decor (with bird and music)

I love wreaths on doors but I wanted to try something new this time to usher in Spring.

I used a 5x7 frame (with glass removed), page of music, cut-out of a bird, tissue paper, floral wire and ribbon.

I wanted a 3-D element to it so parts are overlapping the frame. The bird image is cut from a gift bag. (It has a velveteen texture --oooh la la!)

To make the flowers I cut the tissue paper in multiple (same sized) circles. I stacked them on top of each other and then I poked two holes in the center. I pulled the wire through and just crumbled up the tissue paper into a wad until it resembled a carnation (after I was 10 feet away and squinting).

I attached a scrap of ribbon on the back and it was good to go.

I like the versatility of it. I can remove the ribbon and put it anywhere else I want.
